Frequently Asked Questions

How i can recommend a map to be added in AvalonCS Servers?

Our community has a policy that configures the servers to, in the games in which it can be performed, download the maps and addons that we need from the Workshop and reducing the download of other elements that are not strictly necessary to zero.

Therefore, in games, whenever possible, our servers only use maps that are uploaded to the Steam Workshop. Steam has servers around the world dedicated exclusively to downloading content such as its client, updates and personalized user content, among many other functions, which allows content to be downloaded quickly from anywhere in the world.

To recommend a map, simply send us via email or Discord that you are recommending a map and the full URL of the map in the Steam Workshop (no hyperlinks or hidden links).

In games where this is not possible, contact the Head Admin.

Key Considerations for Staff Applications

It is important to consider the following factors when applying to be a member of our staff.

Importance of the disciplinary file: An impeccable disciplinary file is of utmost importance. Instances of multiple punishments, bans, involvement in racism, rudeness, or poor grammar may negatively impact your application.

In the event that you do not have a criminal record with us but have received a VAC ban or similar, it can be ignored, as long as the request includes a detailed explanation of why this punishment is imposed and a detailed justification that demonstrates a change in attitude.

Community Participation and Interaction: Proactive participation in our Discord server, prior positive interactions with staff members, and constructive contributions to the community will positively contribute to the strength of your application.

Address previous application rejections: If you have experienced previous application rejection, it is essential to address the reasons behind the rejection. It is necessary to demonstrate personal growth and improvements made since the previous application.

Application approval is not guaranteed: Submitting your application does not automatically guarantee acceptance. The selection process is meticulous and seeks candidates who not only enjoy serving but also demonstrate the ability to meet the demands and responsibilities associated with the staff position.

We wish you the best of luck with your application! Make sure you understand this guide thoroughly and take note of the key points. Examining previously accepted applications can serve as a valuable resource, offering insight into areas of possible improvement.

How to Obtain the Steam ID of a Player for Reporting Purposes

In order to obtain this data, there are two options:

If both players are present:

First make sure that you and the player you want to report are connected.

To do this you will need to open the developer console, so you must first have it activated and its activation assigned to a key. If you don’t know how to do it, you can visit this guide on Youtube.

Then we will open the console and type the command status and press the ENTER key on our keyboard.

Locate the player you want to report and some information will appear next to their name, including their Steam ID (Steam ID3 format [U:X:XXXXXXXX]

Copy that information and put it on a “Steam ID Finder” website (search on Google) and it will give you different formats. We are interested in the one that starts in STEAM_

If this steps seems complicated for you, in No More Room in Hell (and recent launched games like CS2) there is a easy way: Only press Tab and will appear list of players. Maintain pressing Tab and with mouse, press right click on the player and click on “See profile”. Will open Steam browser. Now copy URL (link of the profile) and follow what is explained in the previous paragraph.

If the Player Has Left:

It is necessary that you tell us the name of the player you want to report, the day and approximate time of the event and on which server. We will be able to check the records if that player and their data exist.

By following these straightforward steps, you can easily gather the necessary information to report a player, ensuring a smoother resolution process.

I send some screenshots to demonstrate it. Please ban him
